The life of a mold refers to the period from the beginning of the trial to the scrapping of a mold. In the logistics fruit basket mold design stage, it is necessary to clarify the type of production batch or the total number of mold production parts that the mold is suitable for. Under normal circumstances, the use of the mold The life should be longer than the design life. Different types of molds have different forms of normal damage. Generally speaking, the forms of work surface damage include friction damage, plastic deformation, cracking, fatigue damage, and gnawing damage.
Logistics fruit basket mold maintenance: mold maintenance is more important than mold repair. The more the mold is repaired, the shorter the life of the mold, and the less the number of mold repairs, the longer the life of the mold.
There are three main points in the maintenance of logistics fruit basket molds:
1. The daily maintenance of the mold, various moving parts such as thimble, row position, guide post, guide sleeve refueling, cleaning of the mold surface, and dredging of water, this is the daily maintenance during mold production.
2. Regular maintenance. Regular maintenance includes the cleaning of the exhaust slot in addition to the long maintenance, the air trapping and the black level of the exhaust, the correction of damage, and the correction of worn parts.
3. Appearance maintenance, paint the outside of the mold to avoid rust. When lowering the mold, the movable mold and the fixed mold should be coated with anti-rust oil. The mold should be closed tightly during storage to prevent dust from entering the cavity.
1) Mould structure of logistics fruit basket. Reasonable mold structure contributes to the load-bearing capacity of the mold and reduces the load-bearing level of the mold.
2) Logistics fruit basket mould material. The mold material should be selected according to the production batch size of the product parts. Pay attention to the process defects that may be caused by the metallurgical quality of the mold material and the influence of the load carrying capacity during work, and take necessary measures to make up for the lack of metallurgical quality to improve the life of the mold.
3) Mold processing quality. The defects of mold parts in machining, EDM, forging, pretreatment, and quench hardening, and surface treatment will have a significant impact on the resistance to bite force and fracture resistance. For example, the surface roughness of the logistics fruit basket mold, the remaining knife marks, the microcracks of EDM, the surface carburization and decarburization of heat treatment, etc., all have an impact on the load-bearing capacity and life of the mold.
4) Mold working status. When the mold is working, the accuracy and rigidity of the equipment used, the lubrication conditions, the pretreatment state of the processed material, the preheating and cooling conditions of the mold, etc. will all have an impact on the life of the mold.
5) The condition of product parts. The mechanical properties such as the surface quality of the processed material, material hardness, elongation, and the dimensional accuracy of the processed parts have a direct relationship with the life of the mold.
